Many skins have announced that the IGT Network, formerly known as Entraction, has notified them that their network license will be lost on December 11, 2012. The notice was received with exactly 90 days notice which is a standard contract term for termination. While PAS partner Noiq Poker’s parent company has announced that they will be leaving the IGT Network on that day, they have not mentioned whether it is due to being notified by the network or if it was done on their own.

This is the email that we received from Noiq Poker this morning:

In continuation to the recent move from IGT poker networks´ turn-key solution to operate under our own gaming license, we are pleased to announce that we are taking the development of our services further, by finalizing a services agreement with one of the world´s leading poker networks.

This means that iGame Malta will in the nearest future switch the poker services provider for its sites,, and and for the database of close to
1 000 000 players by leaving IGT´s poker network. This will secure our players the access to the top of the line poker software, good liquidity and continuity.

The cooperation with Relax Gaming Network and the Fast Poker product, as well the other software providers will continue as before.

Relax Gaming does not offer a standard online poker software platform. The company specializes in a speed version of poker similar to Rush Poker. iGame Malta, parent company of Noiq Poker, 24hpoker, and Pokerihuone, will need to find another standard network for their poker room brands. Fast Poker is used by some Microgaming skins so we feel an announcement about a move to Microgaming is coming in the near future.

Many smaller skins announced that their license would be revoked but it is unclear what caused this action. It may have been that iGame Malta notified IGT that they were leaving the network. There has been other speculation that IGT must drop the network operate in Nevada.

The network has been in a steep decline since IGT bought Entraction. IGT has banned players from Australia, Spain, Belgium, Cyprus, Canada, Israel, Norway, Russia and Turkey since taking over the network. This has thinned the player pool on the network that banned U.S. players in 2006. With so many skins receiving license termination notices, and iGame Malta leaving, the next announcement may be that the IGT Poker Network will close. We will report updates on the IGT Network in the future.
