August 2013 US Online Poker Payment Processing Report

There were two major moves this month in U.S. online poker payouts. One was a major positive, while another led a room to receive an F grade. The July U.S. payment processing report may be found here. Last month’s grades are in parenthesis.

Bovada A+ (A)

Bovada once again wins the top honors. Its payment processing is as perfect as it could be in this regulatory environment. That is good news with football season just a few weeks away.

Players can expect a Western Union or MoneyGram cashout request to be processed in 1-2 days. The fees and limits are:

Money Transfer/WU

• $ 100 – $ 200 Fee: $ 40
• $ 201 – $ 500 Fee: $ 50
• $ 501 – $ 1000 Fee: $ 80
• $ 1001 – $ 2000 Fee: $ 150

Rapid Transfer/MG

• $ 100 – $ 200 Fee: $ 20
• $ 201 – $ 400 Fee: $ 30
• $ 401 – $ 600 Fee: $ 45
• $ 601 – $ 800 Fee: $ 60

Players may request a check for up to $ 3,000. These arrive in 6-10 days. Players may receive one free check per month. Additional checks have a $ 50 fee. There are no reports of bank wire speeds at this time.

Winning Poker Network A (A)

The main Winning Poker Network cashier consists of Americas Cardroom, True Poker and Black Chip Poker. It continues to be one of the leaders in U.S. poker cashouts.

Players can receive debit card withdrawals in 1-4 days. The debit card may be used at any ATM machine. Players must first request a debit card from the cashier. There is a $ 25 fee and it arrives in about two weeks. There is a $ 4.95 withdrawal fee for each transaction plus ATM specific fees. The maximum weekly cashout is $ 2,500, while the monthly cashout max is $ 10,000.

Checks are another option. The maximum check cashout is $ 2,995. These arrive by courier in 1-2 weeks. The first check each month is free. Additional checks carry a $ 65 fee.

Western Union is also available. These are processed in 1-3 days. The fees are:

• $ 100 – $ 299 Fee: $ 60
• $ 300 – $ 499 Fee: $ 70
• $ 500 – $ 749 Fee: $ 85
• $ 750 – $ 999 Fee: $ 95
• $ 1,000 – $ 1,500 Fee: $ 110

Intertops A- (A-)

Intertops continues its impressive cashout speeds. While a member of the Revolution Gaming Network, many Intertops games are ring fenced and exclusive to Intertops players. It also does not accept new U.S. players.

Intertops does not offer any free withdrawal options. Checks are available up to $ 3,000. The fee is $ 50 and they arrive in about a week. Wires also have a $ 50 fee, but there may be additional fees charged by intermediary banks. Wires may be requested in amounts up to $ 2,500 and arrive in 2-3 weeks.

Western Union is the fastest option. The fees and limits are:

• $ 150-$ 500 Fee: $ 70
• $ 501-$ 1,000 Fee: $ 85
• $ 1,001-$ 2,000 Fee: $ 180

Merge Gaming B (C)

Our most improved award goes to the Merge Gaming cashier, which services Carbon Poker, Aced, Sportsbook and PlayersOnly. Checks arrive in 2-4 weeks. This is a major improvement from last month’s 8-10 weeks. There is no fee for check withdrawals. Players may request up to $ 2,500 on a single check. If a player has multiple withdrawal requests then they may be combined on one check as long as the cumulative amount is not more than $ 2,500.

The outlook at Merge Gaming is positive as the most recent check requests are being processed in 2-3 weeks.

Lock Poker F (D-)

Lock Poker is a member of the Revolution Gaming Network. Lock Poker’s cashout woes have become more and more public. The Two Plus Two user IHasTehNutz compiles data on player reports of Lock Poker withdrawals. The most recent spreadsheet shows over $ 200,000 in pending request that are more than 60 days old to players all over the world. The oldest Western Union is from February and the oldest check dates back to December. There have been some reports of withdrawals being processed faster than this so the average for Western Union withdrawals is about 4-5 months, while checks are arriving in 7-8 months. This is far slower than competitors on other networks.

There are two other causes for concern. The oldest Skrill withdrawal request is five months old. Lock Poker also announced that it would no longer respond to questions at Two Plus Two and instead opened a private forum open only to players with a lifetime rake of $ 100 or more. All of these issues contributed to the F grade for this month.

Juicy Stakes F (F)

Juicy Stakes is also a member of the Revolution Gaming Network that continues to struggle with processing withdrawals to players across the globe. Checks, which are available in amounts up to $ 3,000, are reportedly arriving in 6-10 months. Some players have reported waiting for a check since November. International ewallet withdrawal reports average about three months.
