Delaware iGaming Soft Launch – Regulated igaming in the First State dipped its toes in the water with an advanced beta test for poker and slots players. A hard launch, which will include a full casino suite, is set for later in the month.

Ultimate Gaming UFC Promotion – It was only a matter of time before Ultimate Gaming leveraged its ties to the UFC to promote Ultimate Poker in Nevada. Next week the site is hosting a UFC Hall of Fame poker tournament at the Red Rock Casino featuring all-stars like Chuck Lydell. Spectators will be invited to sign up for accounts with Ultimate Poker.

Jersey Regulators Go on Licensing Spree – NJ gaming regulators just gave the nod to more than 50 companies who are looking to work in and around the regulated igaming industry when it launches later this month.

Bitcoin Hits All-Time High -Bitcoin trading prices crossed the $ 300 mark for the first time ever this week. That’s up 44% from where it was just a week ago. Analysts are crediting wider acceptance of the digital currency, along with increased interest from China, for the boom.

WSOP Crown Awarded – 23-year-old Ryan Riess won the World Series of Poker this week in Las Vegas. The newly minted millionaire says he was inspired to play by Chris Moneymaker’s victory back in 2003.

myVegas Slots Mobile App Launch – myVegas is beefing up its mobile slots and rewards program with the launch of myVegas Slots for Android and iOS. The social casino has also added four, new Las Vegas-based rewards providers.
