January US Online Poker Payment Processing Report

There were a few moves this month including a new number one. The US online poker rooms that have consistently paid well continued doing so. Those rooms that have struggled are still having problems processing payments to US players in a reasonable manner.

December’s US Payment Processing Report

Intertops A (A-)

Intertops moved up to the number one spot. Their speeds, scores and fees are all the same as last month. The US withdrawal speeds at Intertops have been consistent throughout most of the year and a half that we have published this report. Checks are available for up to $ 3000 and have a fee of $ 50. These arrive in about a week. Bank wires also have a fee of $ 50, have a $ 2500 max and arrive in a player’s bank account in 2-3 weeks. Cash transfers take about two days to process. Cash transfer fees are:

• $ 150-$ 500 Fee: $ 70
• $ 501-$ 1000 Fee: $ 85
• $ 1001-$ 2000 Fee: $ 180

Intertops is on the Revolution Network but no longer accepts new US players.

Winning Poker Network A- (A)

The Winning Poker Network cashier processes payments for Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker and True Poker. There were some minor delays this month due to both the holidays and the backlog of US withdrawal requests when Black Chip Poker moved to the network last month. This caused the group to lose the number one spot. The group still deserves to be in the A grade range due to their history of fast processing speeds.

Checks have been arriving in 2-4 weeks. Checks are available for amounts up to $ 2995. There is a fee of $ 65 but the fee is waived on the first check request each month. Debit card cashouts were processed in the range of 1-2 weeks during the past month. It seems that these delays were the result of the processor going on holiday during the Christmas season. These payments were made in 1-3 days last month. There is a $ 25 fee to receive the debit card and a $ 4.95 service fee each month. There are also fees each time the debit card is used at an ATM or point of sale. There were no reports of bank wires last month although it seems this option is still available.

Cash transfers are also available. These arrive in 1-3 days and use the following fee schedule:

• $ 100 – $ 299 Fee: $ 60
• $ 300 – $ 499 Fee: $ 70
• $ 500 – $ 749 Fee: $ 85
• $ 750 – $ 999 Fee: $ 95
• $ 1,000 – $ 1,500 Fee: $ 110

Merge Gaming B+ (B+)

Merge Gaming continues to offer respectable cashout times to US players. Checks arrive in 3-20 days and have a fee of about $ 20. The maximum cashout by check is $ 2500. Cash transfers are also available to some players. The maximum request is $ 850 and the fee is $ 30. These arrive in 2-3 days. Merge Gaming skins that use this cashier include Aced and PokerView.

Bodog/Bovada B+ (B)

Bovada is the US facing brand for Bodog. The group remains consistent with their withdrawal speeds to US players. Checks and bank wires arrive in 1-3 weeks. Each carries a fee of $ 50. Checks have a max of $ 3000 and wires have a max of $ 5000. Players may receive one free withdrawal per month through either wire or check. Many players also have cash transfers available. These arrive in 2-3 days and use the following fee scale:

Money Transfer/WU
• $ 100 – $ 200 Fee: $ 40
• $ 201 – $ 500 Fee: $ 50
• $ 501 – $ 1000 Fee: $ 80
• $ 1001 – $ 2000 Fee: $ 150

Rapid Transfer/MG
• $ 100 – $ 200 Fee: $ 20
• $ 201 – $ 400 Fee: $ 30
• $ 401 – $ 600 Fee: $ 45
• $ 601 – $ 800 Fee: $ 60

Carbon Poker/Jazette C+ (C)

Carbon Poker’s new cashier is improving. The times are not consistent and run anywhere between 3-6 weeks. The most recent times are improving though so I feel that was worth a slight bump in the grade. Some players have cash transfers available. The few reports put cash transfer speeds in the 3-7 day range.

Lock Poker D (D)

Things are looking better for US players at Lock Poker. Cash transfers are back and it seems that players waiting for cash transfers older than 2 months are paid for the most part. There are still some issues though. Cash transfers are taking 7-10 weeks and checks are taking 3-4 months to process. Even more troubling is that non US players often wait more than a month for their ewallet withdrawals.

Juicy Stakes D- (D+)

Juicy Stakes continues to struggle with US withdrawal speeds. The times are even worse this month. Checks arrive in 3.5 to 5 months. There are no other fees associated with a Juicy Stakes check withdrawal. No other methods are available to U.S. players.
